Privacy Policy

This policy describes what personal data Zerovyn collects through zerovyn.com, why it is collected, how it is kept, and how you can exercise your rights over it. It applies to the public website, the contact and project-enquiry forms, and the chat assistant.

Zerovyn is a technology services business operating from India and serving clients globally. Where you are located in India, the processing described here is governed by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025. Where you are located elsewhere, this policy is offered on the same terms and your requests are handled through the same channel.

1. What data is collected

Collected only through the forms and the chat assistant. Nothing is collected passively beyond what a web server and a hosting provider necessarily record to serve a request.

• Contact details — name, email address, and anything you choose to include in a message.
• Project details — scope, budget band, and the description you write. These are optional fields except where the form marks them otherwise.
• Chat messages — the text you send to the on-site assistant, and the short history needed to keep a conversation coherent.
• Server and delivery records — IP address, browser and device type, timestamps. These are generated by the hosting provider and the email relay as part of serving the request, not by tracking code on the site.
• Email correspondence — the content of any reply thread you continue with us.

2. What is not collected

No payment card data, bank details, government identifiers, location history, biometric data, browsing data from other sites, health information, or data belonging to children is collected by this website. No account system exists, so there are no passwords, no profile data, and no authentication data held about you.

3. Why it is collected

Every element has one purpose: to answer your enquiry and, if you become a client, to scope and deliver the work. Name and email exist so a person can reply. Project details exist so the reply is useful. Chat messages exist so the assistant can answer. Server records exist because a request cannot be answered without them, and they are retained only for security and abuse prevention.

4. Third parties who process the data

Data is not sold, traded or shared for marketing. It is shared only with the providers without which the site cannot function:

• Hostinger — web hosting, DNS and the email delivery API that routes form submissions to a real inbox. Hostinger processes this as a processor on our instruction.
• Pollinations — the language-model provider behind the on-site chat assistant. Messages you send to the assistant are passed to it to generate a reply.
• Google Fonts — typeface files. Google records which font files were requested and by which referer; no personal data from our forms is sent to it.

Each provider processes under its own privacy policy. Where the model provider is temporarily unavailable, the chat assistant answers from a fixed set of facts about Zerovyn and no message leaves our server in that mode.

5. How data is kept

Form submissions are stored in an access-restricted ledger on our own hosting account, and a copy is emailed to a monitored inbox. The ledger and the inbox are protected by the hosting provider's own access controls. Chat history is held in memory for the length of the conversation only; it is not written to a database. The site sets no cookies, so there is no cookie-based profile of you.

6. How long it is kept

Enquiry data is kept for as long as is necessary to answer you and, if a project results, for the duration of that engagement plus a reasonable period to resolve any subsequent question about it. If no engagement results, enquiry data is deleted on request and in any event within 24 months of your last message. Server access records are kept for a shorter period sufficient to detect and investigate abuse.

7. Your rights

You may at any time, by email:

• request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• request correction of anything that is wrong;
• request deletion of your data, including the enquiry ledger entry;
• withdraw any consent you gave, without affecting processing already done;
• ask where data was shared and for what purpose.

Requests are answered by a person, in writing, within a reasonable period and in any event within 30 days. There is no charge for any of these requests. Send them to privacy@zerovyn.com.

8. Security practices actually in place

The following are implemented and verifiable on this site. Nothing beyond these is claimed:

• All traffic is served over HTTPS; the site requests that insecure requests be upgraded.
• The submission ledger and server configuration files are blocked from public access by server rules.
• Form input is length-capped and validated server-side before it is accepted.
• The chat assistant is rate-limited per IP and refuses instructions outside its stated purpose.
• Security headers are set: content-type sniffing protection, frame-ancestry restriction, referrer policy.

9. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the effective date below changes with it and the previous version remains available on request. Material changes are not applied to data already collected under an earlier version without your agreement.
